Kimtron I/O Box
The Kimtron I/O box is the electrical hub of the x-ray system. It enables the generator & controller to interface with various types and brands of peripherals, in either a cabinet or lead room configuration.
All power-feeds to the various subsystems emanates from the I/O box, all safety inputs and error conditions are fed back to the I/O box where they are routed to the appropriate warning, alarm or error display.
The I/O box also houses Kimtron’s Auxiliary Tube Temp. SensorTM device that protects the x-ray tube from overheating in the event of a cooler failure.
